Enoree Citizens Meeting

June 19, 2012 No Comments

We are just before primary election day. If I or someone on my team has not visited you or met you through the many meetings I have attended, or by knocking on your door, I apologize. I intend on dedicating myself to meeting you and your neighbors all the way through to the November election. For those of you in the Enoree area I would like to invite you to the next citizens meeting June 14 at 6 pm at the Scout Hut/community building. This will be the 4th meeting held in the last 2 months to hear and prioritize issues and concerns for the Enoree community. At this meeting Sheriff Chuck Wright will be there along with some of his officers to address safety issues residents are experiencing. The RESCUE group of Enoree has been reinstated. At this meeting nominations will be taken for a new slate of officers. I encourage all residents of this community to be at this meeting. The residents of Enoree are stepping up to the plate. They realize the importance of getting involved and taking care of the community and the residents living there. They have many issues to deal with from crime to the elderly and children. I am most encouraged with the leadership of members in area churches. This is a prime example of a community caring for its own. I hope many of the programs already being offered in the Woodruff area can perhaps expand to assist the people in Enoree. Remember the date: June 14 at 6 pm at the Enoree Community Building. As always, I am here to serve. Jane Jhall@ spartanburgcounty. org 864-433-8406
