The Woodruff Times reports that the Holiday Food Grab at Woodruff Elementary School helped Spartanburg School District 4 families keep students fed while school was out for winter break.
On Dec. 22 and Dec. 29, 2025, organizers handed out roughly 6,615 breakfast packs and 6,615 lunch packs. The food came from District 4 in partnership with Taylor Boys Produce and Country Meat Center.
Volunteers included Woodruff High students and families, a Woodruff Elementary teacher, the Woodruff Police Department's school resource officer and a volunteer from Luck Stone, with support from Woodruff Church of God and First Baptist Enoree.
Organizers are already planning the district's summer food distribution and are looking for volunteers. According to the report, anyone interested can contact Audra Terry, District 4's food service director, through the district. Contact details are in the full story at The Woodruff Times.
