Woodruff football opened fall practice for 2026 moving up to Class 2A, with a veteran quarterback, a retooled defense and state-title hopes.
Fall practice began July 31 for a Wolverines team competing in Class 2A for the first time since 2015. Head coach Brett Sloan returns most of a productive offense but has to rebuild a defense that graduated 10 starters.
