ReGenesis Receives $2.4 Million to Expand Health Care Services
The Spartanburg-based community health center received about $2.4 million from two state funds for rural care, a mobile dental unit and opioid-use-disorder treatment.
ReGenesis Health Care, the federally qualified community health center serving Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties, announced two grants totaling about $2.4 million.
The funding comes from South Carolina's Rural Health Transformation Program and the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund. It is earmarked for remote patient monitoring, health IT upgrades, a mobile unit fitted for dental care and expanded treatment for opioid use disorder.
